History
Kırklareli University Institute of Social Sciences was established in 2010 by Law No. 5662, and it continues to provide services in the fields of education, research, and community contribution in line with the university's institutional mission and vision.
In line with our university's vision, we aim to train researcher specialists who can adapt to the constantly changing conditions of the world, are sensitive to social and environmental issues at global, national, and local levels, and can utilize both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in their fields of study. To achieve this, we prioritize providing quality services in education, research, and community contribution at national and international higher education standards, and we value being open to all opportunities for change and innovation and continually benefiting from them.
As of 2023, our institute has 10 doctoral programs, 22 master's programs with thesis, 3 non-thesis master's programs, and 9 distance education non-thesis master's programs. In total, there are 44 graduate programs. Three new graduate programs were launched in 2023.
