Important Considerations for Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Committee Applications

In the Ethics Committee Application Letter, the following should be specified: "thesis title, purpose, significance, research method, relevant sources."
If the scale used in the research is not developed by the researcher themselves, permission for the scale should be included in the application and referenced in the study.
For studies involving individuals under the age of 18, a Parental/Guardian Consent Form must be prepared.
An Informed Volunteer Consent Form should be included with all studies conducted.
The Research Permission Form (detailed with the Thesis Title and Subject) must be completed, signed by the Advisor and the Chair of the Institute’s Department, and submitted to the Institute along with all the aforementioned documents.
However, if surveys will be conducted with Public Institutions and Organizations, a letter stating the necessity and appropriateness of the situation must be submitted by the Advisor to the Chair of the Institute's Department. If the Chair approves, all these documents should be communicated to the Institute via the EBYS system.

Additionally, it is mandatory to complete the Online Application Form following applications made through our Institute.

Important Considerations for Online Applications to the Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Committee

Online applications include our university's administrative and academic staff as well as students.
After filling out the Online Application Form, the necessary documents should be sent to bayet@klu.edu.tr.
A separate form must be filled out for each study, and the email should specify the "Subject."
In case of file overflow, the order numbers should be indicated (Subject: Document 1, Document 2).
Note: Ethics Committee Applications should be submitted from the first day of each month until the twentieth (1-20). Applications made after the 20th will be evaluated in the following month.
